The government has announced that it will provide a bonus to a segment of the population. Here's who qualifies and when the transfers will be made.

Last Tuesday (26), the government proclaimed an additional benefit for some citizens. On that occasion, the Minister of Economy announced the creation of yet another benefit for people, with the purpose of mitigating the inflationary impact on family financial planning.

Argentina is currently facing severe economic instability, heightened by high inflation rates and the continued depreciation of the national currency. As such, the Argentine government has been implementing bonuses and aid with the aim of supporting the population during this period of adversity.

How will the bonus work for self-employed workers?

According to the Argentine Economy Minister, Sergio Massa, self-employed workers will receive 94 thousand pesos this year, equivalent to R$ 1352.29, distributed in two installments of 47 thousand pesos, one in October and the other in November.

When asked about the origin of the funds for this bonus, Massa explained that it comes from tax advances from large banks and financial institutions. He confirmed that they have already notified the corporations about this advance.

The announcement of the offer of a new bonus by the Argentine government comes just a few weeks before the October 22 elections, in which Sergio Massa is a candidate.
