Government brings forward payment of Bolsa Família to THESE PEOPLE

55 Brazilian municipalities will receive Bolsa Família benefits earlier than expected. The federal government has brought forward payments to municipalities in a state of emergency due to the drought in the Amazon region.

Thus, last Wednesday (4) Vice President Geraldo Alckmin and other ministers visited Manaus and flew over the areas most devastated by the drought.

Thus, thinking about minimizing the impacts of the drought, the government decided to advance the payments. See below who will receive the Bolsa Família payment in advance.

Who will receive Bolsa Família in advance?

As stated before, areas in emergency situations will be covered by benefit before the other beneficiaries of the program. Therefore, families in the Amazon region who receive Bolsa Família and BPC (Continuous Benefit Payment) should receive it on the 19th.

All beneficiaries will be able to withdraw the amount on this date, regardless of the official calendar, which deposits the amounts according to each person's NIS. In addition, farmers who participate in Pronaf (National Program for Strengthening Family Farming) and have lost part of their production should receive full insurance.

The government is also considering releasing unemployment insurance for fishermen who also suffered during the dry season in the region.

Among other measures to minimize the impact of the drought, the Ministry of the Environment and Climate Change sent 191 firefighters to work fighting fires.
