Almost six million low-income Brazilians in the country are recipients of the Gas Aid, which is intended to cover the full purchase of gas cylinders. The Gas Aid will be returned to Brazilians this June, following the release of the benefit every two months. The measure that ensures payments until the end of this year was recently enacted by the Federal Government.
In this way, the amount needed to purchase essential items is available to families in a situation of socioeconomic vulnerability. The amount of the benefit varies according to the average price of LPG in the country. In April, the aid was R$$ 110 for almost six million citizens.
According to the Gas Aid statement in the Caixa app, the benefit amount was reduced to R$109, that is, R$1 less. For more information, beneficiaries have access to several channels made available.

The values and other information about Gas Aid can be consulted through the following platforms:
- Caixa Tem app (available for Android and iOS);
- Caixa Citizen Portal;
- Bolsa Família app (also available for Android and iOS).
Gas Aid in June
The payment schedule for the Gas Aid for the month of June has already been released. The payment dates coincide with those of the Bolsa Família and are determined based on the final number of the NIS (Social Identification Number). Check it out:
