The purpose of Auxílio Gás is to cover the cost of a 13 kg gas cylinder for low-income families that meet specific established criteria. The program works as follows: every two months, participants receive the equivalent value of one gas cylinder.

In addition, the benefit amount varies between R$ 110 and R$ 120. The last time beneficiaries received the benefit, in April, the amount was R$ 110. However, there is no information available about the amount to be distributed in June.

How to be enrolled to receive the Auxílio Gás payment in June?
Although there is a limitation in the availability of resources, those who meet the pre-established criteria may apply to receive the benefit. However, it is important to point out that, this month, only beneficiaries who were already receiving the assistance will be covered.
To receive Auxílio Gás, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Registration with CadÚnico
If the family is not yet registered with the Cadastro Único, it is necessary to contact the nearest Centro de Referência de Assistência Social (CRAS) to register or update the existing information.
Step 2: Monitoring the information
It is essential to pay attention to the deadlines and guidelines published by the Ministério do Desenvolvimento Social (MDS) and by the responsible state and municipal authorities, in order to complete the registration and update the data in the Cadastro Único.
Step 3: Analysis and approval
After the application, the responsible authorities will analyze the data provided by the family to verify whether it meets the established criteria to receive the benefit.
Step 4: Receiving Auxílio Gás
If the family is approved, the benefit amount will be deposited directly into the program representative’s account on Caixa Tem (available for Android and iOS) or made available on a specific card designated for this purpose.
Requirements for receiving the benefit
- Registration with CadÚnico: the family must be duly registered in the Cadastro Único and keep its information up to date to participate in the program;
- Family income: the family’s monthly income must be no more than three minimum wages;
- Regional criteria: in some cases, the responsible agencies conduct an additional analysis to identify families in a situation of greater socioeconomic vulnerability, following criteria established specifically for each region.
