This October, more than 4,000 pensioners and retirees will receive a benefit. Let's see more details below! Those who are retired and pensioners, linked to the Osasco Municipal Pension Institute (IPMO) and receive up to six minimum wages, are in a favorable situation. This is because these beneficiaries will be entitled to an aid of up to R$1,750. The “Best Age Aid” will grant this financial support to a total of 4,845 individuals.
In this sense, instead of making deposits into users' accounts, the City of Osasco will credit the amounts directly to the Verocard card, always on the twentieth day of each month. Beneficiaries will see the first installment of the benefit deposited in October and will be able to use the money to purchase food, among other items.

The payment of the Senior Citizen Benefit is in accordance with Bill No. 21/2023, an initiative by Councilman Carmônio Bastos. After being reviewed by the City Council, the proposal was approved by Mayor Rogério Lins. The benefit was launched last week.
How much will the aid be for pensioners and retirees?
The amount granted varies according to the profile of the citizen linked to IPMO. The administration will make available R$ 585 for those who receive income and pensions of up to six minimum wages, while pensioners and retirees who receive up to three minimum wages will be able to count on aid of R$ 700.

Therefore, IPMO beneficiaries who meet the conditions can pick up the aid card at the institution's headquarters. The location, which operates from Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 4 pm, is located at Rua Avelino Lopes, n° 70, in the center of Osasco.

To ensure continued receipt of payments, beneficiaries must provide proof of life. IPMO, in an inclusive manner, allows the procedure to be completed online, in person or by post.
