The Ministry of Development and Social Assistance (MDAS) announced that some Bolsa Família beneficiaries will experience a decrease in the amounts received in October. This is due to the Auxílio Brasil payroll loan, granted in October of the previous year and which is still causing deductions from the program’s payroll.

These changes to the financial support program led to the benefit being renamed from Auxílio Brasil to Bolsa Família. Those who took out the Auxílio Brasil payroll loan will still face deductions from their payments.
Standard Bolsa Família Allowance
The banks responsible for providing the loan will continue applying the R$ 160.00 deduction until the debt is fully paid off. It is important to emphasize that all families are subject to this deduction, regardless of the number of members in the beneficiary family.
In June of this year, MDAS implemented a new calculation methodology that provides an equitable distribution based on the number of people in the same household who share the family income. Thus, the amount transferred should be equivalent to R$ 142.00 per person, regardless of age or degree of kinship. See below the estimated transfers for your family:
- Families of up to four members: R$ 600.00;
- Families of five members: R$ 710.00;
- Families of six members: R$ 852.00;
- Families of seven members: R$ 994.00;
- Families of eight members: R$ 1,136.00;
- Families of nine members: R$ 1,278.00;
- Families of ten members: R$ 1,420.00.
Program extras
It is crucial to emphasize that the Federal Government has defined a base amount of R$ 600.00, regardless of family composition, ensuring that no family receives less than this amount. However, families subject to payroll loan deductions may receive amounts below the defined minimum. See the relevant amounts below:
- Families of up to four members: R$ 440.00;
- Families of five members: R$ 550.00;
- Families of six members: R$ 692.00;
- Families of seven members: R$ 834.00;
- Families of eight members: R$ 976.00;
- Families of nine members: R$ 1,118.00;
- Families of ten members: R$ 1,260.00.
October Bolsa Família schedule
Even with the deductions, Caixa Econômica Federal (CEF) ensured payment for the October Bolsa Família benefit. The amount will be deposited into the Caixa Tem digital account, as determined by the program's official financial assistance schedule.
The official Bolsa Família schedule has dates structured according to the last digit of the Social Identification Number (NIS) of the Family Representative. Thus, deposits begin on October 18 and conclude on the 31st of the same month. Check the complete Bolsa Família schedule for this period:
- NIS ending in 1: October 18;
- NIS ending in 2: October 19;
- NIS ending in 3: October 20;
- NIS ending in 4: October 23 (brought forward to Saturday, 21);
- NIS ending in 5: October 24;
- NIS ending in 6: October 25;
- NIS ending in 7: October 26;
- NIS ending in 8: October 27;
- NIS ending in 9: October 30 (brought forward to Saturday, 28);
- NIS ending in 0: October 31.
How to withdraw?

The withdrawal can be made at any Caixa branch, lottery outlet, or Caixa Econômica ATM. The withdrawal can be made using the Bolsa Família card, the Auxílio Brasil card, or the Caixa Econômica Citizen Card.
Beneficiaries who do not have the Bolsa Família card or any of the options mentioned can access the payment through the Caixa Tem app. With the app, it is possible to pay bills, make bank transfers at no cost, and top up mobile phones, all conveniently without leaving home. The Caixa Tem app is available for Android and iOS devices.
