Does Caixa provide an amount below R$2.9 thousand?
The amount of the anniversary withdrawal is not fixed, that is, Caixa may offer an amount lower than R$ 2.9 thousand. So, to calculate, the interested party must apply a rate, which fluctuates between 5% and 50%, and add an additional amount. However, it is worth noting that, unlike PIS/Pasep, the anniversary withdrawal can be made in advance, and the employee does not have to wait until the beginning of the month of celebration. Several companies make it easier to withdraw this benefit in advance. Therefore, many individuals born in October may have already made the withdrawal.

How to make a withdrawal?
- Start by opening the FGTS app (Android or iOS);
- Then, enter your details or create an account;
- Locate the “Anniversary withdrawal” option and click on it;
- Choose the account for the deposit;
- Analyze the simulation data;
- If everything is ok, just follow the steps to finish the process;
- Caixa transfers R$ 2.9 thousand within 5 business days.
