Will the PIS/Pasep for the base year 2022 be paid in 2024?
As mentioned, the Covid-19 pandemic has caused delays in the payment of these benefits. This year, the disbursement was for the base year 2021. The PIS/Pasep payment scheme follows the worker's month of birth. See this year's dates:

Therefore, professionals have until December 28 to withdraw the amount. Therefore, it is expected that the start of the PIS/Pasep payment for the base year 2022 will occur in February 2024, following the 2023 pattern. However, the exact dates for next year have not yet been confirmed.
Who is entitled to the allowance?
To be eligible to receive PIS/Pasep, workers must meet certain requirements:

- Be registered with PIS/Pasep for at least five years;
- Receive up to two minimum wages of monthly remuneration in the reference year;
- Have worked for a Legal Entity for at least 30 days, consecutively or not, in the reference year;
- The company (Legal Entity) must correctly report employee information in the Annual Social Information Report (RAIS)/eSocial.
