Voa Brasil: find out everything about the program

Voa Brasil, a new federal government program, provides the benefit of tickets at R$$ 200 for retirees and pensioners of INSS (National Institute of Social Security). It is important to highlight that the launch of the program, which was scheduled for August, did not happen.

Therefore, the project will take longer than expected to be implemented due to a partnership with the Ministry of Tourism. See below the details of this initiative and learn how it will work.

Fly Brazil

As said before, the idea of program is to make tickets more affordable, charging only R$200. At the beginning of the program, tickets will only be for retirees and pensioners of the INSS with an income of up to R$6.8 thousand.

This group of people will be able to purchase up to two tickets per year, with the right to a companion. Another advantage is that those who have not been on any flight in the last 12 times will be entitled to up to 4 tickets.

Voa Brasil will therefore make available the airlines' idle tickets, especially those for domestic flights outside of the peak season. However, passengers must choose their destination based on the availability on the Voa Brasil website or app.

Another detail is that there is no right to accommodation, that is, the passenger must bear this cost. Despite this, hotels must offer exclusive discounts during low season periods to receive tourists from the program.

Therefore, even though passengers will need to pay for accommodation, the Voa Brasil program seems advantageous, since the air tickets will guarantee good savings.

Expectations

The federal government expects that at the beginning of Voa Brasil, around 50,000 tickets will be offered per month. There will also be the possibility of paying in up to 12 installments through Banco do Brasil and Caixa.

As a large number of people are expected to attend the initiative, Brazil's airports will be ready to receive more passengers, as stated by Minister Márcio França.
