Who can receive Bolsa Família?
It is important to note that Bolsa Família is only intended for low-income families. In addition, as with other government benefits, in order to have access to the installments, beneficiaries must comply with certain rules, such as:

- School attendance of children and adolescents;
- Prenatal monitoring of pregnant women.
What will change in 2024?
In 2024, the Bolsa Família program may undergo significant adjustments. One of the proposals under discussion is to change the income limit for participation in the program. Thus, although the 2024 Budget does not foresee an increase in the benefit amount, there are expectations that the program will expand to include more families throughout the year.
The Minister of Development and Social Assistance, Family and Fight Against Hunger, Wellington Dias, highlighted the need to keep registration information always updated. This is crucial to ensure continued access to the benefit. Therefore, it is essential to keep an eye on the Single Registry (CadÚnico) and carry out updates whenever necessary.
