INSS is currently preparing to make a significant payment. The sum of R$ 1.9 billion corresponds to Small-Value Claims (RPVs). These represent legal proceedings filed by beneficiaries who claimed amounts of less than 60 minimum wages from INSS.

For the payment to be made in June, the entire legal process must be concluded and the decision must already have been issued. Caixa Econômica Federal and Banco do Brasil, rather than INSS directly, will make the payments, which will come from the Federal Regional Courts.
