Who receives Gas Aid today (27)?

Gas Aid is a federal government benefit for low-income families. The benefit payments began on October 18, which means that the vast majority of people have already received their installment. 

Therefore, this Friday, families with NIS ending in 8 will receive the amount from the government. It is worth noting that the Gas Aid follows the same dates as the Bolsa Família. See the full calendar below. 

October Calendar 

Gas Aid is a bimonthly benefit, that is, every two months the federal government makes payments. Therefore, as stated before, this benefit follows the same dates as Family Allowance, check it out:

  • NIS final 4 – October 23;

How much is the Gas Aid in October?

Currently the benefit is 100% of the national average value of a 13kg gas cylinder and in October the installment reached R$ 106. However, the scenario next year will be different, since the federal government will pay only 50% of the value of a 13kg cylinder.

All beneficiaries receive both Gas Aid and other government benefits through Caixa's Digital Social Savings account.

How do I know if I am entitled to Gas Aid?

See below who can receive the benefit from the federal government: 

  • Subscribers to CadÚnico;
  • Families that include people who receive BPC (Continuous Benefit Payment); 
  • Families with per capita income less than or equal to half the minimum wage.

Furthermore, it is worth highlighting that families that have women who are victims of domestic violence and are under protective measures are a priority.
