The Gas Aid is a bimonthly benefit, and since the last installment was in October, the next payment will only be made in December. The installments are deposited together with the Bolsa Família, according to each person's final NIS.

What will change in Gas Aid in 2024?
Like other federal government benefits, the Gas Aid has requirements for receiving the installments and in 2024 the rules will continue to apply. Check out the rules for registering for the benefit:
- Be registered with CadÚnico and have updated information;
- Have a monthly per capita income less than or equal to half the minimum wage.
Furthermore, it is worth highlighting that women who are victims of domestic violence or in a situation of protective measures are a priority for the program and can receive the installment.

About the benefit
The value of the benefit is 100% of the national average price of a 13kg gas cylinder and in October it reached R$ 106. The December installment should be an amount close to the last payment.
However, in 2024, the federal government is expected to reduce the payment by 50%. In other words, beneficiaries will receive only half the national average next year.
Full Calendar for Gas Assistance in December
As stated before, the Gas Aid benefit follows the same dates as Family Allowance. So, it is expected that in December the dates will be as follows:
- NIS final 1 – December 11th.
- NIS final 2 – December 12th.
- NIS final 3 – December 13th.
- NIS final 4 – December 14th.
- NIS final 5 – December 15th.
- NIS final 6 – December 18th.
- NIS final 7 – December 19th.
- NIS final 8 – December 20;
- NIS final 9 – December 21;
- NIS final 0 – December 22.
