Gas Aid began payments last Wednesday (18), together with the Family Allowance. Thus, beneficiaries with final NIS 1 and 2 have already received their payment and today (20) it was the turn of those with NIS 3.
In addition to these people, families from the Amazon region and the south of the country were also able to withdraw the amount on the 18th. This is because the regions suffered from atypical weather conditions and had a state of emergency declared by the government.

October Gas Aid Calendar
As stated before, beneficiaries of NIS 1 and 2 have already received the benefit, so today the families with NIS ending in 3 will receive it. See below the dates established for the month of October:
- NIS final 1 – October 18;
- NIS final 2 – October 19;
- NIS final 3 – October 20;
- NIS final 4 – October 23;
- NIS final 5 – October 24;
- NIS final 6 – October 25;
- NIS final 7 – October 26;
- NIS final 8 – October 27;
- NIS final 9 – October 30;
- NIS ending 0 – October 31st.
Who is entitled to the benefit?
The Gas Aid aims to help low-income people registered with the CadÚnico. In other words, to receive the benefit, you must have a monthly income of less than or equal to half the minimum wage.

How much will the October Gas Aid installment be?
The amount covers 100% of the price of the 13kg cylinder. It is worth noting that the plans for next year are different, since in 2024 the benefit will cover only half of the average price of the cylinder.
In addition, the aid installment falls into a digital account of the holder, but if the person does not have one, it is possible to open a digital savings account at Caixa.
