About CadÚnico

CadÚnico was created in 2001 and is an information center that the government uses to find out how families in situations of social vulnerability live in Brazil. Thus, it is the gateway to other government social benefits, which means that without it, it is not possible to receive Bolsa Família or Auxílio Gás, for example.

Who can register?

CadÚnico, as previously mentioned, focuses on low-income families who earn half the minimum wage per person. However, families with a monthly income of up to three minimum wages can register, as long as there is a link to inclusion in government social programs.

Additionally, homeless people can also register to access benefits.

If you haven't registered yet, just go in person to a service center in your city. This is because despite being a government program, it is operated by city halls.

Therefore, CRAS (Social Assistance Reference Centers) provide this type of service and can help quickly. To register, you need to bring documents such as your ID, CPF and voter registration card.

In addition, the person responsible for the family must bring at least one identification document for each family member.
