The Serasa Score is a score that is used to assess your financial history. This score can be decisive in your relationship with credit. This is because creditor companies usually consult your Score before accepting your applications.

In other words, people with poor scores end up having much greater difficulty in obtaining limit increases, financing and loans in general. Therefore, it is important to know the criteria for calculating the Score in order to increase it.

Calculating the Serasa Score

The Serasa Score is calculated based on five factors. According to the official Serasa website, the criteria are as follows:

  • Bank Connection;
  • Commitment to Credit;
  • Debt and Pending Registration;
  • Queries to your CPF;
  • Financial Evolution.

The first of these, the Bank Connection, is a new feature of the Serasa Score. It is a function in which you link one or more accounts with Serasa, allowing a more assertive analysis by the credit bureau.
