So, see below who managed to win the other prizes such as the quina and quadra and find out how to bet on the contest.

Quina and quadra, is it worth winning?

As mentioned before, no one won the main prize of the contest, but some bets got five and four numbers right, check it out:

  • 31 bets matched five numbers and took home a prize of R$ 63,664.08;
  • 1,965 bets matched four numbers and took home a prize of R$ 1,435.03.

So even if you don't get all the numbers in the draw right, getting four or five right can be a positive thing, especially with such a high prize.

How to bet on Mega-Sena?

  • Bet through website
  • Through the app (available for Android and iOS);
  • For those who wish, there is still the option of going to lottery shops.

What are the chances of winning the contest?

It is important to note that the probability of winning the contest varies according to the bet you make. For example, a simple bet of R$ 5.00 and six numbers has only a 1 in 50,063,860 chance of winning the contest.

In the case of the most expensive Mega-Sena bet, R$ R$ 22,522.50, with 15 numbers, you have a 1 in 10,003 chance of winning the prize, according to Caixa. In other words, the more numbers you play, the greater your chances of winning.

But for those who don't want to shell out all that money, betting on Caixa's pools can be a good option to increase your chances. Another alternative is to add another ten to the single bet, for just R$ 35.00.
