The government recently announced the early payment of the 13th salary to retirees and pensioners of the National Institute of Social Security (INSS). This measure aims to provide greater financial security to beneficiaries amid economic uncertainty.
Traditionally, the salary bonus payment occurred in the second half of each year. However, in recent years, since 2020, the payment of the 13th INSS salary has been made in advance. Thus, according to the new schedule, the first installment of the benefit, which corresponds to 50% of the transfer amount, will be paid together with the April benefits.
The second installment will be calculated based on the difference between the total value of the annual allowance and the value of the advance installment, and will be paid with the benefits for the month of May.
