CadÚnico is the entrance door for federal government benefits, since it is a database of Brazilians. Thus, through it, the federal government knows who can or cannot receive transfers from social programs such as Family Allowance or Gas Aid, for example.

Thus, the federal government established new rules regarding the operation of the Bolsa Família and CadÚnico inspection network. Therefore, see below what has changed with this action.

What has changed in CadÚnico inspection?

It is important to highlight that the group that will monitor the program will be composed of representatives from ministries and agencies such as the Office of the Comptroller General. The reason for this initiative is to prevent possible fraud.

About CadÚnico

CadÚnico was created in 2001 and is an information center that the government uses to find out how families in situations of social vulnerability live in Brazil.

Therefore, it is the gateway to other government social benefits, which means that without it it is not possible to receive Bolsa Família or Auxílio Gás, for example. It is important to highlight that the information is used only for this purpose, to map who needs to receive the benefits.
