Correios and Caixa: United for Brazil to Expand Access to Essential Services

In a historic initiative that aims to expand access to essential services for the Brazilian population, Correios and Caixa Econômica Federal have entered into a strategic partnership.

The agreement, signed in March 2024, provides for the use of the extensive network of Correios branches throughout the country to offer various Caixa services, especially in remote and difficult-to-access areas.

• Mail: Presence in more than 5,500 municipalities, including remote and difficult to access areas;
• Box: Bigger public bank in Latin America, with a wide range of financial products and services.

• Greater capillarity: Bringing banking services closer to the population, especially in areas where Caixa does not have physical branches.
• Agility and convenience: Faster and more efficient service for customers, avoiding long journeys and queues.
• Expansion of service offerings: Provision of various Caixa services at post offices, such as:
  • Opening accounts;
  • Withdrawals and deposits;
  • Payment of bills and invoices;
  • Loans;
  • Credit and debit cards;
  • Insurance;
  • Investments.

Investment in infrastructure and technology

• Modernization of post offices to offer Caixa services;
