The Single Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government, known as CadÚnico, is the gateway to a series of social programs designed to help families in vulnerable situations.

Who can register with CadÚnico?
Registration with CadÚnico is intended for low-income families, that is, those who have a monthly income of up to half the minimum wage per person or a total income of up to three minimum wages.
The registration process must be carried out in person at the nearest Social Assistance Reference Center (CRAS). The process can also take place at entities designated by the city government.

Therefore, it is important to highlight that only one family member, known as the Responsible for the Family Unit (RF), with a minimum age of 16 and, preferably, female, must register.
Required documentation
To register with CadÚnico, the person responsible for the family must present personal documents of everyone living in the house, such as:
- Photo ID (RG, CNH);
- CPF of all family members;
- Proof of residence;
- Proof of income, such as pay slips or self-employed statement;
- Birth or marriage certificate, if applicable.
Step by step guide to registering with CadÚnico
See below the steps required to register:
- Locate the nearest CRAS: contact your city hall or access the Ministry of Citizenship website to find the address of the CRAS closest to your home;
- Gather the necessary documentation: Make sure you have all the required documents for all family members;
- Visit CRAS: go to CRAS with your documents and request registration with CadÚnico. The attendant will then fill out a form with your family's information.
- Wait for validation: after registration, your information will be analyzed and, if approved, your family will be officially registered with CadÚnico, and may qualify for various social programs.
