Who is entitled to PIS in 2024?
To understand who is eligible for PIS in 2024, it is essential to know the eligibility criteria. Therefore, PIS is for private sector workers who have been registered in the program for at least five years.
In addition, it is necessary to have worked formally for at least 30 days in the base year, with an average monthly salary of up to two minimum wages. Therefore, the worker's data must be correct in the Annual Social Information Report (RAIS) by the employer.
How do I check my balance?
One of the biggest questions that beneficiaries have is how to check their PIS balance. Fortunately, the process is simple. Workers can check their PIS balance through the Caixa Trabalhador app, available for smartphones, or through the Caixa Econômica Federal website. In addition, it is possible to check the balance at Caixa self-service terminals using the Citizen Card.
