A new social initiative, the result of a partnership between the government of the state of São Paulo and Caixa Econômica Federal, aims to alleviate the situation of financial vulnerability for unemployed workers.

How to qualify for the Bolsa Trabalho benefit?
Bolsa Trabalho is intended for citizens who meet the following requirements:
- Unemployed for more than a year and who are not receiving any type of financial assistance such as unemployment insurance;
- To apply for the benefit;
- And it is necessary to be registered in the Single Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government (CadÚnico) and prove a per capita family income of up to half the minimum wage.
How does Bolsa Trabalho benefit unemployed workers?
The Bolsa Trabalho grant is granted to beneficiaries who are willing to perform work in pre-determined roles for a period of four hours per day.
