Bolsa Família: Who Will Benefit from the R$ 408 Supplement?

This Wednesday (18), Bolsa Família will distribute payments to approximately 21 million families, with amounts starting at R$$ 600.00. Caixa Econômica Federal will deposit these amounts into digital social savings accounts, and beneficiaries can access the funds through the Caixa Tem app.

With the return of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) to the presidency, the Bolsa Família program underwent adjustments. Therefore, new supplements were introduced that change according to the family composition. In this cycle, beneficiaries have the chance to win a bonus of R$$ 408.00. See what comes next!

Details of Bolsa Família supplements

In addition to the standard R$ 600.00, Bolsa Família beneficiaries can earn the following bonuses:

• Early Childhood Benefit: R$ 150.00 for families with children up to 6 years old;
• Family Variable Benefit: R$ 50.00 for households with pregnant women or children and adolescents aged 7 to 18;
• Variable Benefit for Nursing Mothers: R$ 50.00 for homes with babies up to seven months old.

National Gas Aid: intended for 6 million households for the purchase of a 13kg gas cylinder. The exact amount has not yet been announced, but in August, it was R$108.00, and this amount is expected to continue in October.

Therefore, a family with two children up to 6 years old (R$ 300.00) and that is eligible for the National Gas Aid (R$ 108.00) will have an increase of R$ 408.00 in the Benefit, totaling R$ 1,008.00 this month.
