Just like Bolsa Família, Auxílio Gás is a government aid that requires prior registration to participate. In addition, the entire operation takes place via Cadastro Único (CadÚnico). Below, we will detail how to carry out the entire process online.
You do not need to register with Vale Gás online to receive the Gas Aid, as the aid is intended for all those registered in the Single Registry. Therefore, you just need to register or already be registered to have access to the benefit.
Pre-registration with CadÚnico to obtain benefits, such as Gas Aid
To be eligible to receive government benefits, users must register online in advance. Interested parties can choose to download the CadÚnico app on their cell phones, available for Android and iOS, and complete the initial registration there. Subsequently, the beneficiary must visit a CRAS unit within 120 days to complete the registration. At this stage, it is crucial that you present all the requested documents.

Who can get Gas Aid in 2023?
To receive the Gas Aid in 2023, you must meet some criteria. The benefit rules remain unchanged in relation to 2022. Below, we provide more information:

- It is mandatory to be registered with CadÚnico;
- Have a monthly per capita family income of less than half the minimum wage;
- Women victims of violence have preference in the concession;
- BPC beneficiaries are also entitled to the benefit.
Today, the Gas Aid provides a portion of up to R$$ 110 to beneficiaries. The amount is based on the average of the product's old prices, with a reduction expected for August.
Benefit Check and Calendar in August
To check the benefit using your CPF, we have detailed the procedure below. The beneficiary can check their NIS in Bolsa Família using the Cadastro Único (CadÚnico) application. In addition, they can also access the application for the program itself, which recently had its name changed.
The CadÚnico app allows you to monitor your status in the “My Benefits” section. In the case of Bolsa Família, verification is also done using your CPF. The apps are listed below:
- CadÚnico: available for Android and iOS;
- Bolsa Família: available for iOS and Android.
Additionally, beneficiaries can check their NIS using two cards: the Citizen Card and the old Auxílio Brasil card. In both models, the identification number is on the front, next to the holder's name.

The Bolsa Família social assistance program helps millions of people throughout Brazil. The amount transferred varies according to the family structure, as well as the socioeconomic status of the beneficiaries.
In July, the average amount transferred was R$684.17. Thus, it benefited approximately 20.9 million families, totaling around R$14 billion in funds. In August, the benefit payment schedule will be the same as that indicated above for Gas Aid.
