According to the latest release from the Central Bank, a total of R$1,400,000 remains “lost” in banks and financial institutions in Brazil. Through the Central Bank’s System of Receivables (SVR), workers can claim these funds.
The Central Bank’s investigation reveals that as of May this year, 14,511,476 account holders, including 13,975,515 individuals and 535,961 companies, have already redeemed R$4.16 billion. This represents only 26.9% of the nearly 54 million beneficiaries registered in the system in 2022.

Receivables System Fund
The R$7 billion still awaiting redemption in the system is owned by 36,592,388 individuals and 2,788,249 companies. This sum, equivalent to R$731,300 of the total, is distributed as follows:

- Consortia: R$ 2,104,827,674.28 (29.5%);
- Banks: R$ 4,194,428,140.93 (59%);
- Cooperatives: R$ 623,270,248.27 (8.7%);
- Brokers and distributors: R$ 14,950,351.01 (0.2%);
- Financial: R$ 98,097,581.63 (1.4%);
- Payment institutions: R$ 83,820,947.26 (1.2%);
- Others: R$ 4,048,245.01 (0.05%).

- From R$ 0 to R$ 10: 62.84%;

How to recover forgotten money?
Follow these steps to recover your money from the Accounts Receivable System:
- Visit www.valoresareceber.bcb.gov.br to check if you have any outstanding amounts;
- Click on “Receivables System (SRV)” to access the public consultation;
- Enter CPF and date of birth;
- Companies must enter the CNPJ and the date of foundation;
- If a redemption amount is confirmed, you will be redirected to a new page; otherwise, please try again later;
- Log in with your gov.br account;
- Accept the Terms of Acknowledgement to proceed;
- Click on “Request here” and follow the guidelines;
- Choose one of your Pix keys;
- The money will be transferred via Pix within 12 business days after the request.
