First of all, it is crucial to carry out a simulation to understand details about the credit. So, see below how to simulate financing for the purchase of a property through Minha Casa, Minha Vida, without leaving home:
- Visit the Caixa Econômica Federal Housing portal;
- Select the option “My Home, My Life”;
- Choose between “Urban housing” or “Urban housing Band 1” (remembering that the second option is for those with a maximum income of R$ 2,640.00);
- Enter the required data, such as: approximate value of the property, type of financing, location of the property, among others.

Interest rates for financing
Regarding the new rules, the subsidy, which acts as a discount granted by the government to low-income families with monthly incomes of up to R$ 2,640.00 (band 1) and up to R$ 4,400.00 (band 2), increased to R$ 55 thousand, instead of the old R$ 47 thousand.
Regarding the interest rate for families with incomes of up to R$2,000, one of the lowest on the market, these vary according to the region. Check it out:
North and Northeast: from 4,25% per year to 4%;
South, Southeast and Central-West: from 4.5% per year to 4.25%.
