The deadline to withdraw R$ 450 at Caixa is approaching. This amount is made available to workers born in April who opted for the FGTS birthday withdrawal.

The annual withdrawal amount is determined by applying a rate ranging from 5% to 50%, plus an additional amount. For example, if the worker has R$ 1,000 in the fund, they can withdraw R$ 400 (40% rate) plus R$ 50 (additional amount), totaling R$ 450.
FGTS birthday withdrawal table at Caixa
This withdrawal operates annually and takes place in the worker's birth month. By opting for this modality, the worker is entitled to withdraw part of the fund balance.
However, there is a limitation: those who choose the birthday withdrawal lose the possibility of withdrawing the full FGTS amount in the event of dismissal.
Currently, to find out the annual amount to be received, it is necessary to consider the rate and the additional amount, as explained above. The table below indicates the balance range limits and the respective rates and additional amounts:

R$ 450 withdrawal from a Caixa account: how to sign up
To sign up for the birthday withdrawal, workers can use the FGTS app (available for Android and iOS) or the website. After accessing it, they must select “Meu FGTS” and “Saque-Aniversário,” accept the terms and conditions, and indicate a Caixa account to receive the amount.
The deadline to sign up and access the balance installment ends on the last day of the birth month. The withdrawal will be available for 3 months from the initial date. Therefore, for those born in April, the withdrawal can be made until June 30.
