Could you be one of those eligible to receive up to R$ 1,420 through Caixa Tem? Bolsa Família beneficiaries whose Social Identification Number (NIS) ends in 5 will have the chance to receive this amount next Friday (23).
Therefore, starting this month, the regular Bolsa Família amount will consider R$ 142 per family member. Thus, families of up to 10 members can secure the total amount of R$ 1,420 through Caixa Tem.

Understand the changes to Bolsa Família
In June, Caixa Econômica Federal, in partnership with the Federal Government, made some changes to the beneficiaries’ payment system. To increase the amount paid in the regular installment and enhance citizens’ purchasing power, the government implemented some measures.
However, families with up to 4 members still receive the minimum amount of R$ 600. With 5 people, the amount of R$ 142 per member starts to apply. The maximum amount reaches R$ 1,420 for up to 10 people.
Furthermore, starting in June, new additional benefits promised by the Lula government will come into effect, such as the Early Childhood Benefit and the Variable Family Benefit.
Additional privileges in Caixa Tem
The two benefits apply to all families that meet the requirements. Thus, the Federal Government established these extras for families that:
- Have children aged 0 to 6;
- Have children and young people aged 7 to under 18;
- Have pregnant women who undergo prenatal care, or women who have recently given birth.
For the first group, the government pays R$ 150 per child. However, for the others, the government pays R$ 50 per child, young person, or pregnant woman in the family.
The amount of R$ 1,420 in Caixa Tem is cumulative, unlimited, and the government must pay it to all family members who meet the criteria.
In addition, in June, beneficiaries will also receive Auxílio Gás, paid every two months. Finally, the amount covers the national average price of a 13kg gas cylinder, which this month will be around R$ 110.00.
