The Federal Justice Council (CJF) made R$ 1.6 billion available to the Federal Regional Courts (TRFs), benefiting those who won lawsuits against the National Institute of Social Security (INSS) seeking improvements to their benefits.

Thus, the more than 100,000 beneficiaries who were awaiting INSS back payments will receive a Small-Value Payment Request (RPV) that can reach 60 minimum wages, equivalent to R$ 72,720.00. In total, 79,072 cases won against the INSS in May will receive this compensation. Check out the details!

It is important to emphasize that the release of the amount related to back wages took place between June and July. These amounts come from the granting or review of these social security and assistance benefits:
- Retirement pension;
- Survivor's pension;
- Sickness benefit;
- Continuous Cash Benefit.

TRF 1st Region
Located in the Federal District, it covers the Federal District, Minas Gerais, Goiás, Tocantins, Mato Grosso, Bahia, Piauí, Maranhão, Pará, Amazonas, Acre, Roraima, Rondônia and Amapá.
Total: R$ 903.676.348,12;
Social Security and Assistance: R$ 734.979.908,50 (37.781 cases, benefiting 44.138 people).
TRF of the 2nd Region
Located in Rio de Janeiro, it serves Rio de Janeiro and Espírito Santo.
Total: R$ 180.292.001,68;
Social Security and Assistance: R$ 153.142.895,31 (6.780 cases, benefiting 9.119 people).
TRF of the 3rd Region
Located in São Paulo, it covers São Paulo and Mato Grosso do Sul.

Social Security and Assistance: R$ 253.385.814,70 (8.599 cases, benefiting 10.929 people).

Located in Rio Grande do Sul, it covers Rio Grande do Sul, Paraná and Santa Catarina.
