The long-awaited launch of the Voa Brasil project is approaching, bringing with it an exciting offer of airline tickets at a cost of just R$ 200.
Expected to start in August, this bold project promises to make around 1.5 million tickets available monthly, giving a considerable number of people the opportunity to fly at low prices.
The commitment of major airlines in the country, such as Latam, Gol and Azul, is a strong sign of Voa Brasil's potential. The backing of these prestigious companies will undoubtedly boost the program's effectiveness and reach.
The Minister of Ports and Airports, Márcio França, expressed his optimism about the program. With tickets available at such affordable prices, strong demand for flights is expected, which could result in completely full airplanes.
In light of this, the program has the potential to further democratize access to air travel, allowing more people to travel around the country, whether for leisure, work or family visits.

As presented by Márcio França, Voa Brasil will offer a series of advantages to public servants at all levels of government, that is, municipal, state, and federal.
However, to qualify for these benefits, public servants must earn up to R$ 6.8 thousand.
Retirees and pensioners receiving Social Security benefits, as well as students enrolled in the Student Financing Fund (FIES), a program managed by the Ministry of Education (MEC), will have to provide proof of income.
This requirement aims to ensure that the benefits reach those who truly need them, helping to promote greater equity and social justice.
It is crucial to emphasize that, despite the benefits provided by Voa Brasil to public servants and the aforementioned groups, Márcio França assured that airfares will not increase for other passengers.
This is because the cost of each flight segment is determined based on the number of seats per kilometer flown.
Therefore, the greater the number of occupied seats per kilometer, the lower the ticket price will be, benefiting all passengers with lower fares.
As a result, the aim is to encourage full flight occupancy and, consequently, make air travel more accessible to the general population.
In short, with Voa Brasil, Márcio França seeks to balance the benefits granted to public servants with maintaining a fair and competitive pricing policy for the airline industry.

According to information released by the Ministry of Aviation, the purpose of Voa Brasil is to provide tickets at lower prices during periods of lower demand. These periods cover the months of February to June and August to November.
Thus, the aim is to take advantage of the average idle capacity of approximately 21% on domestic flights during these times of the year.
“With this, we will be able to reduce the price of all tickets, because by eliminating idle capacity, the other tickets can also become cheaper,” said the minister.
Those who wish to participate in this program will be able to purchase up to two airline tickets at reduced fares per year. In addition, they may also include one companion on each leg of these trips.
To make the tickets even more affordable and convenient, an installment plan will be offered, allowing the amounts to be paid in up to 12 installments. However, it is important to note that interest will be charged on each installment, with a maximum amount of R$ 72 per payment.
In summary, Voa Brasil aims not only to boost domestic tourism, but also to strengthen the national aviation industry by creating a balance in flight occupancy and stimulating the sector’s economy.
After all, by offering more attractive fares and flexible payment terms, the Ministry of Ports and Airports seeks to further encourage the use of domestic flights, benefiting both travelers and airlines.
