On this day (17), Caixa Econômica Federal and Banco do Brasil bring exciting news to many Brazilians with accounts at these banks. These financial institutions are finalizing the PIS/Pasep salary bonus payments for the 2021 base year.
The most positive point is that the payments can reach R$ 1,320, providing financial relief to many workers. The PIS/Pasep salary bonus is an annual benefit received by workers who meet certain conditions.
To qualify for the benefit, the worker must have been enrolled in the programs for at least five years, earned a monthly salary of up to two minimum wages, have worked formally for at least 30 days in 2021, and keep their information updated in the Annual Social Information Report (RAIS).

Caixa and Banco do Brasil make PIS and Pasep payments
Caixa Econômica Federal pays PIS to people born in November and December, while Banco do Brasil makes Pasep payments to workers whose registration numbers end in 8 and 9.
This division between the two banks is intended to facilitate the process and ensure that all beneficiaries receive their payments efficiently.
The bonus amount depends on the period worked during the year. Those who worked for 12 months in 2021 receive a minimum wage, currently R$ 1,320.
If the worker worked for a shorter period, the amount is calculated by multiplying the number of months worked by R$ 110. This ensures that all workers benefit, regardless of their length of service.
Deadline of December 28 to claim the PIS/Pasep bonus
Eligible workers have until December 28, 2023, to withdraw the amounts. Thus, they have considerable time to withdraw the money and use it in whatever way is most convenient for them.

The PIS/Pasep salary bonus is a way for the government to recognize the work of those who contribute to the country's development.
These amounts can make a big difference in the lives of many workers and their families, whether to pay off debts, invest in education, improve their quality of life, or even enjoy small luxuries that once seemed impossible.
