New property financing amounts under Minha Casa, Minha Vida
At a recent meeting, the council decided to increase the maximum value of properties covered by tiers 1, 2, and 3 of Minha Casa, Minha Vida.
Specifically, the limit for properties in tier 3 was increased from 264 thousand to 350 thousand reais. These homes are intended for families with a monthly income between 4.4 thousand and 8 thousand reais.
It is important to point out that this increase had already been discussed and supported by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT). This measure covers the entire national territory, benefiting families in different regions of the country.
As a result, the change is expected to create 57 thousand new job opportunities in category 3, of which 40 thousand could be filled by the end of 2023.
For income brackets 1 and 2 of Minha Casa, Minha Vida, intended for lower-income families, the new maximum limit established is 264 thousand reais, representing an increase compared to the previous limit of 190 thousand reais.
In addition, it is important to emphasize that the ceiling is related to the size of the municipalities. In general, the smaller the population of a municipality, the lower the established limit will be.
This variation also occurs depending on whether the municipality is a large national metropolis or a regional capital, for example.
