About the Training Grant
This scholarship is an initiative of the National Public Security with Citizenship Program (Pronasci) 2, whose objective is to improve the prevention, control and repression of crime. In addition, the program seeks to integrate social policies and actions aimed at protecting victims.
Approximately 5,400 public security agents will benefit from this scholarship in 2024, raising the standard of training and expertise among these professionals.
Eligibility for the Training Grant
To be eligible for the Bolsa Formação, professionals must meet specific criteria. They must belong to the following careers:
- Military, civil and criminal police;
- Firemen;
- Prison officers;
- Criminal experts;
- Municipal civil guard workers who meet certain criteria.
In addition, they must receive a gross monthly salary of up to R$15,000.00, excluding Christmas bonuses and vacations, and must not have been convicted of a criminal offense or serious administrative offense in the last five years. They must also belong to a corporation of a federated entity that has signed a term of adhesion to the program.
Payments
Payment of the Training Grant is made through a digital savings account at Caixa Econômica Federal, automatically opened for beneficiaries who do not yet have one.
Thus, the movement of these accounts can be done through the Caixa Tem application, which facilitates balance and statement inquiries, bill and invoice payments, transfers and other banking functions.
