The R$ 600,000 prize will be guaranteed by the city government for individuals who use their CPF on the receipt! Starting next Monday, those registered in the system will be eligible to compete for the prize.
The initiative to launch NitNota Cidadã, which aims to encourage the issuance of tax documents, comes from the Niterói City Government (RJ). The goal is to increase government revenue, whether through receipts for goods or services.
Participation in the draw is free, and registration must be completed through NitNota Cidadã. After registering, simply request that your CPF be included on the receipt for all purchases.
How will the draw be held?
According to information provided by the Department of Finance, with each new receipt issued, the registered participant will receive a lucky number to compete for the prizes offered by the city government. However, only receipts with a CPF issued starting Monday (12) will be considered valid.
33 prizes will be distributed, with amounts ranging from R$ 5,000 to R$ 50,000. The drawings will be held separately for ICMS and ISS invoices and for designated institutions. The results are scheduled to be announced on November 22, the day the city government celebrates the 450th anniversary of Niterói.
What is the objective of the city government’s program?
In addition to encouraging the issuance of invoices, NitNota Cidadã also aims to help nonprofit organizations compete for the prizes. When registering, citizens can indicate an institution to participate in the drawing.
Thus, with each invoice issued, the institution’s chance of winning increases.

- R$ 200,000 for ISS invoices;
