The government of Pernambuco plans to make the thirteenth payment of the Bolsa Família program to approximately 1.6 million enrollees. The state governor made the official announcement, informing that the benefit will be paid in a single installment of R$ 150 next June. It is important to note that the payment will be made simultaneously with the regular amount from the social program, starting on 06/19.
According to the state government, only beneficiaries who received program payments for at least six months in the previous year will be entitled to the thirteenth payment. It is worth remembering that in 2022, the program was still known as Auxílio Brasil and had not undergone reforms.

The government emphasizes its commitment to combating hunger and poverty and improving the quality of life of the people of Pernambuco. New actions to reduce social inequality in the state will be announced soon.
The payment of the Bolsa Família thirteenth salary was also announced on the social media accounts of the government of Pernambuco. In a Twitter post, the government stated: “The Government of Pernambuco will pay the amount corresponding to the Bolsa Família thirteenth salary in a single installment, starting June 19. If you are one of the beneficiaries, check the schedule available in this post, according to the last digit of the NIS number”.
The Bolsa Família payment schedule for June, including the thirteenth salary, follows the schedule below:
- June 19 – NIS ending in 1;
- June 20 – NIS ending in 2;
- June 21 – NIS ending in 3;
- June 22 – NIS ending in 4;
- June 23 – NIS ending in 5;
- June 26 – NIS ending in 6;
- June 27 – NIS ending in 7;
- June 28 – NIS ending in 8;
- June 29 – NIS ending in 9;
- June 30 – NIS ending in 0.
Although it was created in 2003, the Program Bolsa Família underwent changes in 2023, with the inclusion of new amounts and benefits for beneficiaries, replacing the former Auxílio Brasil. More than 1.67 million families in Pernambuco will benefit from the Bolsa Família thirteenth payment, making the state the second-largest in terms of beneficiaries in the Northeast region and the fourth-largest in the entire country.
In May, 9,321 new families were included in Bolsa Família payments through updates to CadÚnico. However, these families will not be entitled to the thirteenth payment made by the government of Pernambuco, since only beneficiaries who received payments for at least six months in the previous year, consecutively or not, are entitled to the allowance.
