Ceará Sem Fome helps local families
The social program recently established in the northeastern state, Ceará Sem Fome, provides a R$ 300 card to families facing vulnerable situations. Last Thursday (6), more than 40,000 families benefited from the program's second installment.

The Government of Ceará announced that it transferred more than R$ 9 million to beneficiaries by July 5. The amount can accumulate for up to 45 days, suggesting that those who do not yet have the card or are unaware of their right to it may accumulate up to R$ 600 this month.
How do I request the card?
Families approved to receive the monthly R$ 300 are entitled to a card. In Fortaleza, card distribution began on June 23. In the capital, 8,161 families received the benefit.

In the other cities, the responsibility for delivering the card lies with the governments of Ceará's 184 municipalities. The municipal governments will announce the dates and locations for collecting the card. It is necessary to present an ID card or photo identification document, CPF, and the Social Identification Number (NIS).
