A new withdrawal from the Severance Indemnity Fund (FGTS) becomes available to millions of workers, released by Caixa Econômica Federal. Find out if you are entitled to it!
Today, Saturday (1st), Caixa Econômica Federal authorized a new FGTS withdrawal. This refers to the birthday withdrawal, made available this month to workers who have a balance in their fund accounts and celebrate their birthday in July.

As a result, workers have the chance to withdraw a predetermined amount, provided they opt for this modality by the end of July. This amount can be withdrawn until September. It is important to emphasize that those who choose the birthday withdrawal, if dismissed without just cause, will not be entitled to the FGTS termination withdrawal.

FGTS birthday withdrawal amount
The amount that workers have the opportunity to withdraw through the birthday withdrawal ranges from 50% to 5% of the FGTS, based on the balance in their fund accounts, plus the additional installment. See:
