Caixa Econômica Federal (CEF) offers the National Support Program for Microenterprises and Small Businesses (Pronampe) and, evidently, includes Microentrepreneurs and MEIs.
These companies have the chance to obtain credit corresponding to 30% of their annual revenue. Now, those who have already entered into this agreement have had their repayment period extended to 72 months, totaling six years. Therefore, adding everything up, there are 7 years to complete the payment, since it begins 12 months after the contract is finalized.

How can an MEI extend the Pronampe repayment period?

Through an official announcement, CEF clarifies how companies, including MEIs, can formalize the extended repayment period. Anyone with an active contract can reconsider its terms.
However, this reassessment does not cover contracts that are paused, in a grace period, or covered by the Fundo de Garantia de Operações (FGO).
In situations involving overdue and outstanding installments in delinquent contracts, these amounts may be added to the total owed by the applicant. To do so, the person responsible for the agreement must visit one of the CEF branches.
How does Pronampe benefit the MEI?

For the MEI, whose annual income reaches R$ 81 thousand, this credit can amount to up to R$ 24,300, representing 30% of the permitted income. To join Pronampe, it is necessary to access e-CAC and log in with the Gov.br account.
After that, the next step involves authorizing the sharing of information and declaring the business's income and registration details. In this way, you will define the period of this authorization and indicate Caixa Econômica, entering the federal entity's CNPJ, which is 00.360.305/0001-04. Finally, your information registered with CEF must be up to date.
