Find out how to apply for the Federal Government program by August 4!
Great news awaits startups and early-stage entrepreneurs ready to turn their visions into reality. The Conecta Startup Brasil program, a partnership between the government and Softex, intends to provide R$ 90,000 to up to 100 teams to accelerate their ventures.
Before gaining access to the investment, participants will benefit from a comprehensive training program, have experienced mentors available to them, and build connections with other companies and networking opportunities. At the end, successful projects will receive the investment to drive growth for 10 months, in partnership with a medium-sized or large company.
The impact of the government program
Vitor Dias, Softex's innovation analyst, emphasizes that Conecta Startup Brasil stands out from other projects, as it focuses on early-stage startups, promotes innovative entrepreneurship throughout the country, and seeks to address “concrete market needs”.
In the first edition of the government program, which took place between 2019 and 2021, more than 600 entrepreneurs were trained. They therefore took on 237 technological challenges from 50 companies, including Johnson&Johnson, Bosch, Vale, Natura and 3M.
How to apply for the government program and secure up to R$ 90,000?
To be eligible, the entrepreneur must submit an application by August 4, using the electronic form for Conecta Startup Brasil. It is worth noting that having a CNPJ is not required; however, the program only accepts teams with at least 2 entrepreneurs.
This is the second edition of this initiative. Its creation involved the collaboration of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI), the Brazilian Agency for Industrial Development (ABDI), the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) and Softex.
