The Single Registry is the registry used by the Federal Government to identify low-income families and ensure that they are directed to the appropriate social programs. However, citizens need to be vigilant.
Being registered with CadÚnico does not guarantee that you will receive benefits. This is because each government benefit has its own rules. In addition, the registered data must always be kept up to date in order to be valid.
In some cases, you may need to issue a proof of registration. To do this, you must access the page from CadÚnico or the application, available for Android and iOS. There is also the option of picking it up in person, at service points in your city.
What is included in the proof of registration in the Single Registry?
The CadÚnico registration receipt reveals important information about each registrant. According to the Federal Government website, this information includes:
- Family Code;
- Registration dates;
- Date of last registration update;
- Deadline to update again;
- Family income;
- Full name;
- Date of birth;
- NIS of each family member;
- Family Responsible (RF).
CadÚnico: how it works
The Single Registry is aimed at low-income individuals or those who are linked to social programs. The Bolsa Família Program, the Social Electricity Tariff Program and the ID Jovem are examples of programs that are linked to the Single Registry.
To register, you can first download the CadÚnico app and pre-register your family. However, to confirm your registration, you will need to go to a CRAS (Social Assistance Reference Center) in your municipality within 120 km to confirm your registration in person.
Be aware of the documents you will need to present on the day. This includes identification documents for all members of your household.
