Applications close in October. Law No. 6,754, of December 20, 2021, established the program, providing financial support for expenses such as accommodation, food, transportation, or even registration fees.
Once awarded the benefit, the athlete must report how the funds were used within 30 days after the event concludes. If they decide to withdraw from the competition, the recipient will be required to repay the amount.
What criteria apply to the Athlete Aid?

- Be a Brazilian citizen or have obtained naturalization;
- Be at least 8 years old;
- Have lived in Campo Grande for at least one year;
- Remain actively involved in sports and compete regularly.
It is important to note that the program accepts sports teams, as long as they do not operate professionally (organizations that pay their athletes through formal contracts). However, they will determine the benefit amount based on an individual analysis of expenses.
