A notice published on the digital bank's website indicates that they will charge a fee of R$ 7.99 for using the physical prepaid (debit) card. The institution will apply this fee starting September 28 of this year, but only to those who have not made any transactions in the last 360 days.
What does Neon's physical prepaid card represent?
Neon offers both a physical card and a virtual card in the prepaid (debit) category. Thus, when using the card at a payment terminal, the amount is deducted directly from the account holder's account. This differs from the credit card process, in which the charge occurs on the date determined by the user.

“If you are already our customer, you have the option to cancel your card if you wish,” it is stated in the terms of use. According to the digital bank, this may incur a fee, but if the customer uses the proposed services, this charge will not be applied.
Will the digital bank charge other fees?
In addition to the usage fee for the prepaid (debit) card, Neon warns that the withdrawal fee, currently R$ 4,90, will be R$ 6,90 as of September 4. Operations such as account opening, maintenance, closure, card issuance, annual fees, transfers, and deposits do not have fees.
It is crucial to remember that international purchases continue to incur a cost of 4% + IOF. Neon, like Nubank, Inter, Pan, and other digital platforms, offers physical and virtual cards (debit and credit), loans, and a benefits system.
