For those who wish to combine investment with charitable actions, a new alternative is emerging in the financial landscape. On 14 August 2023, Banco do Brasil will launch “Doadin” for its account holders. This innovation is a capitalization model with a charitable focus, linked directly to Fundação Banco do Brasil through the BB App.
From this perspective, Doadin enables customers to support the foundation’s projects and, at the same time, compete for instant prizes. These rewards can reach R$100, in addition to 10 exclusive prizes of up to R$25,000 when purchasing the capitalization bonds. Each bond is valid for 60 days.

Once the established period ends, the amount corresponding to the redemption, representing part of the bond’s full value, is directed directly to Fundação Banco do Brasil.
In this way, these resources will fund initiatives associated with six priority areas: Social Technology, Education for the Future, Environment and Income, Health and Well-being, Humanitarian Aid and Volunteering.
Why is Doadin relevant to Banco do Brasil?
According to Nelson de Souza, president of Brasilcap, BB Seguros’ capitalization subsidiary, this new option reflects the adaptability of the bank’s range of products.
Additionally, he highlights that Doadin acts as a bridge between the population’s desire to support meaningful causes and the actions of the Banco do Brasil Foundation. For Souza, Doadin emphasizes Brasilcap’s mission to be a driver of change in the community.

To sign up for Doadin, you must be a Banco do Brasil customer and have the BB App (compatible with Android and iOS). This capitalization format not only benefits title holders with chances to win prizes, but also strengthens the social projects sponsored by the BB Foundation. Bruno Alves, from BB Seguros, emphasizes the service’s socio-environmental responsibility and ESG characteristics.
Doadin also boosts fundraising for charitable organizations. In 2022, initiatives of this kind raised approximately R$ 1.48 billion for philanthropic organizations in the country, representing a 12% increase compared to the previous year, according to Fenacap.
For nearly four decades, Fundação BB allocated R$ 2.6 billion to almost 10,000 initiatives, positively impacting approximately 6.6 million individuals.
