The federal government, in collaboration with CAIXA, launches the Bolsa Família program, which will pay an additional benefit to families with babies up to six months old. In October, the program will benefit approximately 283.7 thousand families with an extra R$ 50. The goal is to provide financial support to families with newborns, ensuring the health and growth of these babies.

The Extra Nursing Award is intended for families already receiving the Benefit and who have babies up to six months old. CAIXA will pay six monthly installments of R$ 50. To receive this extra benefit, families must register the baby in the Single Registry before the baby turns six months old. CAIXA makes the payments according to the beneficiary’s NIS (Social Identification Number) last digit, in line with the Bolsa Família program schedule.

Data Verification

Bolsa Família beneficiaries can check installment details in the Bolsa Família and CAIXA Tem apps or by calling 111. This service provides easy and efficient payment tracking, ensuring better management of the assistance.

More Bolsa Família Benefits

In addition to the Extra Nutriz Award, the Benefit offers other essential assistance to families in precarious situations. The Early Childhood Assistance provides R$ 150 for children from zero to six years old. This month, 7,756,047 families will receive this assistance.

CAIXA also provides a R$ 50 bonus for pregnant women and for children and young people aged seven to 17. These additional benefits seek to provide comprehensive social support, covering all stages of childhood and youth, from pregnancy through adolescence.

Payment Process and Usage Options

In October, CAIXA will pay the Bolsa Família and Auxílio Gás amounts. Beneficiaries have the option of managing the funds through the CAIXA Tem app and internet banking, without the need to visit a branch. They can also use the card for debit purchases and make withdrawals at ATMs, lottery outlets, CAIXA Aqui locations and CAIXA branches.
