The October 2023 Bolsa Família begins its payment this Wednesday (18/10), bringing updates for its beneficiaries. As with all transfers, the amounts are based on the last digit of the NIS (Social Identification Number) of the beneficiaries.
According to the official schedule, those whose NIS ends in 1 will receive their payment first. However, this month, the Federal Government decided to bring forward the payment for several people in various municipalities. October 2023 Bolsa Família payment
The October Bolsa Família payment begins this Wednesday for beneficiaries whose NIS ends in 1. However, a recent government decision determines that all beneficiaries residing in 55 cities in Amazonas will receive the program's funds today, regardless of the last digit of their NIS.

Residents of these cities who are Bolsa Família beneficiaries can already access the October payment, disregarding the last digit of their NIS.
New Bolsa Família amount confirmed for October
The Bolsa Família amount in October will include an additional payment for many enrollees. First, it is worth noting that the program establishes a minimum transfer of R$ 142 per family member and R$ 600 per household.
Additionally, Bolsa Família bonuses continue this month. Thus, pregnant women, nursing mothers, and members between 7 and 18 years old will receive an extra R$ 50. Children up to 6 years old will receive a R$ 150 bonus.
However, in addition to these extras, several beneficiaries will also receive Auxílio Gás. This additional benefit, offered by the Federal Government, is provided every two months to those registered. Therefore, families enrolled in both social programs will have increased income this October.
The amount of Auxílio Gás changes with each transfer, as it reflects the national average price of a gas cylinder. Thus, in October, the amount will be R$ 100, following the official Bolsa Família schedule.

Payment schedule
Caixa Econômica Federal handles the deposits for Bolsa Família and Auxílio Gás. Thus, the amounts are available in the digital accounts of those registered. This month's payments begin on October 18 and continue until October 31. See the official schedule:

- Final NIS digit 5: October 24;

To withdraw the payment, beneficiaries can use Caixa Econômica Federal services: branches, lottery outlets, Caixa Aqui representatives, and ATMs.
Additionally, it is possible to manage the funds through the Caixa Tem app. Through it, users can pay bills such as electricity, water, internet, telephone, and invoices.

The app also provides a virtual debit card, allowing purchases throughout the country.
It is worth mentioning that there is a cardless withdrawal option for those who do not have one. To use this service, simply generate a code in Caixa Tem. Then, go to a Caixa ATM and select “cardless withdrawal”.
Finally, follow the instructions on the screen, enter the code, and withdraw the benefit.
