This October, more than 4,000 pensioners and retirees will receive a benefit. Let’s take a closer look below! Those who are retired and pensioners, affiliated with the Osasco Municipal Pension Institute (IPMO), and receive up to six minimum wages are in a favorable situation. This is because these beneficiaries will be entitled to assistance of up to R$ 750. The “Better Aging Assistance” will provide this financial support to a total of 4,845 individuals.
In this regard, instead of making deposits into users’ accounts, the Osasco City Government will credit the amounts directly to the Verocard, always on the twentieth day of each month. Beneficiaries will see the first installment of the benefit deposited this October and may use the money to purchase food, among other items.

The payment of the Better Aging Assistance follows Bill No. 21/2023, an initiative by councilman Carmônio Bastos. After passing through the City Council, the proposal was sanctioned by Mayor Rogério Lins. The assistance was launched last week.
How much will the assistance be for pensioners and retirees?
The amount provided varies according to the profile of the citizen linked to IPMO. The administration will provide R$ 585 to those receiving benefits and pensions of up to six minimum wages, while pensioners and retirees who receive up to three minimum wages may count on assistance of R$ 700.
Therefore, IPMO beneficiaries who meet the conditions can collect the assistance card at the institution's headquarters. The location, which operates Monday to Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., is located at 70 Avelino Lopes Street, in downtown Osasco.
How to ensure the continuation of pensions and retirements?
To ensure the continuity of payments, beneficiaries must complete the proof of life. IPMO also allows the procedure to be carried out online, in person, or by mail.
