According to the Central Bank's latest disclosure, a total of R$ 7,123,443,188.39 remains “lost” in banks and financial institutions in Brazil. Through the Central Bank's Receivables System (SVR), workers can claim these funds.
The Central Bank's investigation reveals that, by May of this year, 14,511,476 account holders, including 13,975,515 individuals and 535,961 companies, had already recovered R$ 4.16 billion. This represents only 26.9% of the nearly 54 million beneficiaries registered in the system in 2022.

Receivables System Funds
The R$ 7 billion still awaiting redemption in the system belongs to 36,592,388 individuals and 2,788,249 companies. This amount, equivalent to 73% of the total, is distributed as follows:
- Consortiums: R$ 2,104,827,674.28 (29.5%);
- Banks: R$ 4,194,428,140.93 (59%);
- Cooperatives: R$ 623,270,248.27 (8.7%);
- Brokerage firms and distributors: R$ 14,950,351.01 (0.2%);
- Finance companies: R$ 98,097,581.63 (1.4%);
- Payment institutions: R$ 83,820,947.26 (1.2%);
- Others: R$ 4,048,245.01 (0.05%).

- From R$ 0 to R$ 10: 62.84%;
- From R$ 10.01 to R$ 100: 25.16%;

How to claim forgotten money?
Follow these steps to recover your money through the Receivables System:
- Visit www.valoresareceber.bcb.gov.br to check whether you have any pending amount;
- Click “Receivables System (SRV)” to access the public inquiry;
- Enter your CPF and date of birth;
- Companies must enter their CNPJ and date of incorporation;
- If an amount to be claimed is confirmed, you will be redirected to a new page; otherwise, try a new inquiry later;
- Log in with your gov.br account;
- Accept the Acknowledgment of Receipt to proceed;
- Click “Request here” and follow the instructions;
- Choose one of your Pix keys;
- The money will be transferred via Pix within 12 business days after the request.
