Understand the content of the notice issued by the Central Bank, which advises users to avoid financial fraud when using online services.
As digitalization gains more space in the financial sector, the protection of financial information needs to be intensified. This Thursday (21), the Central Bank (BC) released a security note for its users.
Due to the existence of fraudulent pages that pretend to be intermediaries of trustworthy entities, the BC instructs that the only safe method of checking and requesting refunds of funds is through its official website.
This serves as the direct point of contact for the Receivables System (SVR), a resource that makes it possible to check whether an individual or company has unclaimed funds in banks, consortiums or other financial institutions.

To redeem funds, please follow the steps below:
- Initially, the applicant must seek the funds using the CPF or CNPJ on the website specified by the BC;
- If there are funds to be received, you will need to access the SVR using your gov.br account. However, the platform only allows access to the resource for silver or gold level accounts;
- Subsequently, the user needs to authenticate and follow the guidelines, providing Pix keys and personal information, when requested;
- Finally, the system will present information about the amount, the debtor entity and guidelines for recovering the amount.
