What's new for 2024

Minha Casa Minha Vida, a government program designed to help Brazilian citizens achieve their dream of owning their own home, has recently undergone significant adjustments, as mentioned above.

In addition to the exemption from fees, another piece of news that will positively impact an even greater number of people is the possible expansion of the income bracket eligible for participation in the program. The government is analyzing the feasibility of increasing this bracket by up to R$12,000. This will provide a broader group of Brazilians with access to the benefit.

This expansion represents a significant increase in possibilities for those who want to own their own home through Minha Casa Minha Vida.

Recent deliveries

Minha Casa Minha Vida has gained 17 new plots of land, this time in the Central and North zones of Rio de Janeiro. Thus, these new units will cover Band 1 of the program, that is, families with incomes of up to R$2,640.

The land has the capacity to accommodate 418 new units. Furthermore, according to the city government, the location was chosen because it is close to public facilities and services for the population.

How do I register for My Home My Life?

The process may vary depending on each family's income bracket. In the case of Bracket 1, people must access the government's housing plan to register, which can be done at city halls.

In the case of bands 1 and 2, the interested party must seek an organizing entity that participates in Minha Casa Minha Vida. Contacting Caixa Econômica Federal is also an option.
